Well nothing wrong with that, so long as the end result is what you’re hoping for. You’re welcome! I’m glad to hear that.
I don’t blame you; we all need one of those days to recharge sometimes. Good!
We’ll know Monday when I get the test back. But, hoping things go well.
That’s what weekends are for. Sundays are the days I really like to sleep in, but I think I needed Saturday too.
TAGGING →Elliott Gilbert & Kurt Hummel
TIME FRAME → April 13th, 2014
LOCATION → Kurt’s Room
NOTES → Just some hanging out and enjoying Little Shop of Horrors. :)
I can’t imagine Freshman year felt this long or ridiculously packed. What kind of piece does it have to be?
I think they’re still trying to see where to place us, exactly. Like, it’s for my Musical Theater technique class…Last couple weeks we dealt with history but now my professor wants to be able to measure our technique or talent so he just told us to prepare a piece to sing next week. My technique doesn’t need much work, so I’m trying to thunk of a song that will show that.
How was your test? I hope it went well!
Coffee is my best friend, no doubt. Though I hope you’re catching up on sleep this weekend.
Surprisingly it did, for how under prepared I still felt going into it. I think it went really well. Thank you for asking.
Oh I slept in until 1:00 today. Usually i like to be up by 10:30 or 11:00, it was great to sleep in. It really was.
Has it even been a month yet? It doesn’t feel like it.
Hardly a month. I knew the work load would be strenuous but I had no idea how much. Plus I’m working on a piece for class, and I have yet to decide what song I’ll be doing.
Professors obviously have no concept of build up here.
Apparently not. It’s driving me crazy and we’re not even half way through the semester.
Only a couple weeks in and I’m already staying up to finish homework and study for a test tomorrow.
Coffee you are my only friend.
"Don’t worry about it." Blaine assured him, but he liked the closeness, with Kurt pressed up to him. When he felt his hip slightly nudge his, a little grin came to his face and he nodded. "You know what? That’s a really good idea. Then we can just share everything… try a bit of all of it." He walked comfortably by Kurt’s side, and having him that close, with his cardigan on and his arms wrapped around Blaine’s… it was really nice. Easy.
"I’m not cold." Blaine insisted, but a shiver ran through him and he laughed at how pitiful it was. "Okay, inside it is." He told him, and slid inside when Kurt held the door open for him. The bakery was very sweet, small, with little round tables and wire chairs tucked beneath them and a beautiful display of treats. Blaine instantly walked to the glass cases and pointed one out. It was three colors of brown, with mousse, cheesecake, and deep rich chocolate cake. "That’s it. That’s the one. One slice of this, please? And the regular?" He asked the woman behind the counter.
Kurt rolled his eyes and pulled Blaine closer for a moment rubbing Blaine’s arm to keep him warm. Upon entering the bakery Kurt drew in a deep breath letting the sweet rich smell of all the baked good fill his nostrils. He hummed and let out a long sigh. “It smells amazing in here.” He giggled and kept his arm linked with Blaine’s. “God, it’s going to take everything in me to not buy everything I see.”
He looked at the cheesecake Blaine had pointed and chuckled, he was like a little kid. It was adorable. That was one of Kurt’s favorite things about Blaine, everything he did was endearing. “This time, it’s on me.” Kurt said only removing his arm from Blaine so he could grab his card. He handed it to the lady over the counter. “You bought dinner, so I get dessert.” He said with a smile. “It’s only fair.”
Blaine felt a rush of excitement and his stomach doing twists and turns as Kurt linked their arms, and he laughed, shaking his head. “I’ll be fine, really. I don’t feel that cold.” Maybe it was the warmth radiating from Kurt being so close, or his cheeks flaring up… he smiled, keeping the conversation going as Kurt did, walking by the taller male’s side and humming in agreement.
"They’re so good. But you’ll get to choose when we get there. It’s all so delicious… though truthfully I haven’t had their normal cheesecake. I always get the chocolate one. I have a super huge sweet tooth too… together we’re a cavity waiting to happen I guess." Blaine teased, and glanced at Kurt with a little shy smile. The little bakery was up a few more buildings, the sign swaying as a soft wind blew through it. "See it over there? There’s a little sitting area too, if we want to sit inside… or we can sit out here on a bench. Whatever you want."
He smiled over at Blaine. “If you’re sure..” He said slowly. “don’t be afraid to ask for your cardigan back. I won’t be offended, promise.” Just in case, Kurt pulled himself closer to Blaine hoping to help keep the boy somewhat warm until they reached their destination. Kurt nudged his hip into Blaine’s lightly. “I have an idea then. You get the chocolate, and I’ll get the regular and we’ll swap. That way we can no longer go without saying we haven’t tried something new.”
He looked in the direction that Blaine had indicated. “It looks nice.” He said with a smile. “I’m fine with sitting where ever you want. But, you look a little cold. Why don’t we sit inside this time?” Kurt flashed another smile and reached out to hold the door open as they approached the bakery.
